Configure a dialup account in OS 9

From the Apple menu, click Control Panels, and then click Remote Access. The window shown below should appear.

Fill in the form as follows:

• “Name” is the username given to you by Online Door County

• Your password and telephone number is also supplied by Online Door County. Enter them in the appropriate boxes.

• If you would like to save the password so you don’t have to type it in every time you connect to the Internet, check the “Save password” box.

• Once you have all the correct information filled in, click the box in the upper left corner to close the window, and when prompted, save the changes you’ve made.

Now, click the Apple menu, click Control Panels, and then click TCP/IP. The window shown below should appear.

Make sure that “Connect via PPP” is selected, and then you may close this window, again saving any changes you made. You’re done!
